Electrifying the Future: A Review of Electrify Expo Long Beach 2023

The future of transportation is electric, and nowhere was this more evident than at the Electrify Expo 2023 in Long Beach, California. This event was a showcase of the latest and greatest in electric vehicles, from cars and hybrids to scooters, skateboards, dirt bikes, and e-bikes.

One of the standout companies at the expo was Revolt Systems, known for their innovative electric motors. Rawrr also caught our attention with their e-bike dirt bikes, a perfect blend of traditional biking and electric power.

E-bikes were a major highlight of the expo, with companies like Rayvolt and Ariel Rider showcasing their latest models.

Another highlight was the introduction of "Break Free", a helmet-mounted brake light and high visibility accessory that promises to make biking safer. This innovative product uses sensors to activate as a brake light when the rider slows down, enhancing safety on the road.

The expo also featured Okai, known for their sleek scooters and e-bikes, and Himiway, a company that specializes in fat tire e-bikes. Their flagship model, the Cobra Pro, boasts a 1000 watt mid-drive and 4.8 inch fat tires, offering stability at high speeds and downhill riding.

Direct-to-consumer e-bike brand Ride1up was also present, demonstrating their commitment to providing high-quality, high-performing bikes at an affordable price. Their latest models, the Rev One, the Rift, and the Tourist model, were all on display.

Swedish electric motorcycle and bike manufacturer Cake showcased their unique designs, while Evolve Skateboards brought electric longboards to the expo, capable of reaching speeds of up to 30 miles per hour.

Last but not least, VVolt Ebikes impressed with their focus on ease of use, simplicity, and accessibility. Their bikes use belt drives for a smoother ride, and their lineup includes the low maintenance Alphas, perfect for flat commutes, and the mid-motor models Sirius and Centauri, designed to be bomb-proof and low maintenance.
